A placid journey, a sacred journey, a testing journey for a year
Our minds strode in valor and yet with unspoken fear.
Our passionate hearts portraying a lovely symphony,
And humming notes of love in harmony.
Together, we gazed at the azure sky and played with the impish tide,
We smiled at the dancing daisies, with falling leaves, we cried.
We basked in love's glory and sparkled in its charm,
We clasped our hands in glee as we trod the apple farm.
Up the Arch and down the cave, we went adventuring,
Into a world decked with dreams, we flew without a wing.
We relished the spring, we endured the fall, we saw the winter reign,
Through changing seasons of sorrow and joy, we saw our love sustain.
When the angelic breeze conveys your essence,
My wistful heart triumphs in your presence.
Oh! Your touch would lessen my day's drudgery,
And your lips would weave a magical mystery.
Your warm breath clears the snowy shroud,
Your angelic looks heal when miseries crowd.
You hold me when teardrops dampen my face,
To my distressed mind, you endow solace.
Our Journey ends, and here dawns a new beginning,
We blend as one in a blissful wedding.
O my beloved !!, thou left footprints of eternal love in my heart,
O Lord! Keep us together in grief and bliss, till death do us part.
